The Gaithersburg Camera Club primarily serves upper Montgomery County, though members come from all over.  The club is meant for camera enthusiasts of varying skills and interests.  Our goal is to help you become a better photographer and give you a place to meet others who share your passion for photography.  Our programs and activities provide information and instruction for all skill levels. Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings with or without a member.

Maryland Photography Alliance Seminar

The Maryland Photography Alliance (MPA) will host it's first photography seminar, "Odyssey of Light," on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.  The seminar will be held at Notre Dame of Maryland University in the Knott Auditorium in Baltimore. 

Featured speakers include Bruce Dale from National Geographic and Tamara Lackey, a Nikon USA Ambassador.  The admission price for GCC and other MPA photography club members is $79.  The price includes free lunch and parking.  Attendees will also receive a $50 Nations Photo Gift Card.  Admission price for the general public is $99.

Maryland Photography Alliance (MPA) Gallery Show
After a successful run at the Columbia Art Center, the Maryland Photography Alliance's (MPA) newest gallery show is now open to the public.  The entire show of 72 images is located in the lounge area of the State of Maryland House of Delegates building, which is located at:
6 Bladen Street,Annapolis, MD 21401 The gallery show will be on display through 3/2018

GCC Call for Submissions

Kaitlin is an attorney at Astrachan Gunst Thomas, P.C., and a member of the Maryland bar. A substantial part of Kaitlin’s practice involves litigating copyright, trademark and unfair competition matters, negotiating business transactions and agreements, and clearance, protection, registration and licensing of trademarks and copyrights. Adam Lowe is a portrait, commercial, and event photographer with a studio in Silver Spring, MD. His work has been featured in publications such as Washingtonian Magazine,  Architect Magazine, and on the walls and coffee tables of his clients. Photography Field Trips
The Gaithersburg Camera Club has launched a series of single day photography field trips that are within an easy drive from our hometown. Members with any level of experience are free to join us at a variety of locations.
