The Gaithersburg Camera Club primarily serves upper Montgomery County, though members come from all over.  The club is meant for camera enthusiasts of varying skills and interests.  Our goal is to help you become a better photographer and give you a place to meet others who share your passion for photography.  Our programs and activities provide information and instruction for all skill levels. Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings with or without a member.

Speaker Night - 4/9/2018 - 7pm
Speaker: Ed Palaszynski, Topic: Image Workflow Circa 2018
He is a trained scientist and educator and specializes in de- mystifying the technology side of digital photography while balancing it with traditional photographic concepts. Ed has taught classes in Photography at Montgomery College, Mac Business Solutions and Capital Photography and currently does consulting work in digital photography. Click his bio for more details.

Mark Van Bergh is a Washington, D.C. area attorney and photographer. Mark is currently co-coordinator of the National Zoo’s Photo Club, does presentations on nature and wildlife photography to Washington area camera clubs, judges local camera club competitions, and has written for an on-line nature photography magazine. Photography Field Trips
The Gaithersburg Camera Club has launched a series of single day photography field trips that are within an easy drive from our hometown. Members with any level of experience are free to join us at a variety of locations.

Lonaconing Silk Mill - 5/15/2018 - 1 - 5pm
There is an upcoming field trip to Lonaconing Silk Mill in Allegany County, MD on Tuesday May 15 from 1pm - 5pm. Click Western Maryland's Historical Library to learn more about the history of this mill.

GCC Meet-Up
It’s a new concept to provide club members with more opportunities to shoot together without counting on a GCC field trip coordinator to accompany the group.
